Terms and conditions

These Terms and Conditions are based on the terms of Stichting Webshop Keurmerk and supplemented with provisions specifically applicable to Shiny Horses (www.shinyhorses.com), a webshop focused on horse care products.
Article 1 – Definitions
These terms apply to all offers, orders, and agreements from Shiny Horses. Visitors, customers, and users are referred to as the ‘consumer’.

Article 3 – Applicability
These terms apply to every offer from Shiny Horses and to every distance agreement concluded via www.shinyhorses.com. By placing an order, the consumer declares to have taken note of and agreed to these terms.
Article 4 – The offer
The products offered are clearly described. Obvious errors or mistakes in the offer do not bind Shiny Horses.
Article 5 – The agreement
The agreement is concluded as soon as the consumer completes the order via the webshop.
Shiny Horses confirms the order by email. The webshop uses a hosting partner and is hosted on a secure WooCommerce (WordPress) platform.
Article 6 – Right of withdrawal
The consumer has the right to dissolve the purchase without giving any reason within 14 days of receiving the product. The product must be returned undamaged, complete, and preferably in its original packaging.
Article 7 – Payment
Payments are processed securely via **Mollie B.V.**.
Shiny Horses does not store any payment details itself. The payment is only completed once Mollie confirms the transaction.
Article 8 – Delivery
Orders are processed via **MyParcel** and shipped with **PostNL**.
Customers receive a track & trace code as soon as the order has been shipped.
Shiny Horses is not liable for delays caused by carriers but actively helps in resolving issues.
Article 9 – Warranty and conformity
Shiny Horses guarantees that products meet the legal requirements of soundness and usability. Any defects must be reported within a reasonable timeframe.
Article 10 – Complaints procedure
Complaints can be submitted via info@shinyhorses.com.
The consumer will receive a substantive response within 14 days.
If the complaint is not resolved through consultation, the consumer can turn to Stichting Webshop Keurmerk or the Webshop Disputes Committee.
Article 11 – Disputes
Agreements between Shiny Horses and consumers are exclusively governed by Dutch law. Disputes can be submitted to the Webshop Disputes Committee or the competent court in Amsterdam.
Article 12 – Security and data protection
Shiny Horses uses secure (SSL) connections, encrypted databases, and secure logins for employees. All personal data is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Article 13 – Partner and affiliate program
Shiny Horses works with selected partners and affiliates.
When a visitor arrives at our website via a partner link, a technical cookie may be temporarily placed. These cookies do not contain personal data and are used exclusively to assign commissions to partners.
Article 14 – Visual material and intellectual property
All images, texts, logos, and product descriptions on the Shiny Horses website are protected by copyright. Copying or reusing them without written permission is not allowed.
Article 15 – Platform and technical operation
The webshop runs on the **WordPress / WooCommerce** platform.
While extreme care is taken regarding security and availability, Shiny Horses cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation.
Article 16 – Additional provisions
In cases not provided for in these terms, Shiny Horses decides reasonably and in consultation with the consumer. Additional or deviating provisions may not be to the detriment of the consumer.
Article 17 – Changes
These terms may be changed. The most recent version is always available at www.shinyhorses.com.
